The Conference will take place from 28 to 29 May 2020 (Postponement due to COVID-19 outbreak - date still to be decided) in Lisbon, the city which "by day has a naive theatrical quality that enchants and captivates, but by night it is a fairy-tale city, descending over lighted terraces to the sea, like a woman in festive garments going down to meet her dark lover" (E. M. Remarque, The Night in Lisbon).
